ongoing case study

If you’re reading this,
you’re already part
of the dataset.

This project tracks the full lifecycle of one real job search — every application, every rejection, every silence. The goal is to treat the job hunt as a dataset: to observe how hiring systems behave, how long they take to respond, and which variables actually seem to matter.

What lives here

Over time, this site will grow into a structured case study with four main chapters: a high-level overview of the search, a detailed methodology for how applications are tracked and scored, a dataset description, and a set of evolving insights and visualizations.

Everything is intentionally anonymous and de-personalized. The focus is on patterns in systems — applicant tracking software, hiring workflows, response latency — rather than on any single company or role.
